Future Innovators – A Helmholtz Transfer Academy
To strengthen technology transfer, the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) and the German Electron Synchrotron (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron; DESY) are launching Future Innovators – A Helmholtz Transfer Academy. The aim is to integrate entrepreneurial thinking and actions into scientific projects at an early stage, so that successful applications in industry can emerge more quickly from research.
The programme is primarily aimed at researchers. It supports them in developing transfer ideas for their scientific topics. By inspiring and educating scientists, a transfer culture will be increasingly integrated into everyday scientific life and, in the long term, become part of the DNA of the Helmholtz Association’s centres.
DLR is responsible for the consortium management of Future Innovators.
